Eudora likes to move with the flow. She has a know it all impression because she appears to have knowledge of whatever subject that is being discussed at the moment. If she doesn't? Well, she questions the person until she has enough information to continue a conversation should that topic ever come up again. Due to that, she is very adaptable. She can adjust her actions and thoughts to suit the situation. Eudora has somewhat of a short attention span and is unable to concentrate on a specific matter for long. She'll go back when her mind comes up with another idea, but her projects and ideas often remain unfinished
Eudora is a positive person. She doesn't like to take things too seriously. She likes to make people forget their misery and problems. There's a downside to that. She represses emotions that she doesn't like and most of those times, it's negative emotions that drive her crazy. One thing Eudora doesn't like is responsibility. She wishes that everything will go well and fine without her having to invest any personal effort in it. Of course, nothing ever does and Eudora gets stressed out and nervous easily. She does tend to be superficial, judging by first impressions. She is known to change her mind constantly, so there’s always an opportunity to get on her good side. Or her bad one. She likes to know gossip and if she’s feeling mean enough, she might just spread some of her very own.

HISTORY:
Evander and Odessa Xanthiswere arranged to marry. There was no fuss on both their parts, both acknowledging the practice of keeping their blood pure. That didn’t mean they got along well. They had little fights more often than not, often witnessed by both their children. Eros and Eudora Xanthis. They were two years apart, but they could have been twins for all their similarities. They were born in the same month and had the same temperament. Eudora was a very lively child. She loved chattering, was friendly with just about everyone and was off reading books from a young age. She became irritable if she was cooped up with no form of entertainment. Lucky for her and her brother, they lived in a mansion with a huge garden.
Her father was definitely the disciplinarian of the family. He was very strict with his children, often chastising them for any small thing that they did wrongly. He favoured his son more, but just slightly. Her mother was not the one smothering them with love, but she did take care of her children and not having various nannies coming in and looking after them while she went off.
When Eudora was eight, her father was offered a position as an Unspeakable in the Ministry of Magic in England. Odessa was not opposed to the move and the entire family was moved to England. Eudora had no problems fitting in. Her brother’s acceptance letter to Hogwarts came soon enough and two years later, so did hers. She was sorted into Ravenclaw and received a letter from her mother telling her that she was pleased. Eudora got the feeling her father would have liked her to be sorted into Slytherin and sure enough, there was a letter from him within the week.
Eudora was not one to take such things to heart, even if she did remember them in ages to come. Her Hogwarts years could be described as one word. Fun. Her grades were good and she put in the effort, but she knew how to have fun as well. She liked doing an essay and then rewarding herself with a trip to the kitchens or finding a bloke and flirting with him. She did find herself having an attraction to a particular boy a year above her. He was quite possibly the most serious of all her relationships. Eudora, being a sucker for romance and soul mates, got married right out of Hogwarts to this particular boy. Naturally, such things might work in fairy tales but real life was much more different.
The relationship seemed to break down and pretty soon, the couple found themselves estranged. Now, Eudora had married without her father’s approval. Her father told her that she should marry a pureblood or she might come to regret it. After her wedding, in which he didn’t turn up, her mother said that she hoped Eudora would have a happy ending because divorcing once she fell out of love was not an option and would only give her father more reason to berate her. That was the primary reason why Eudora is refusing to give Declan a divorce. She left him, despite still having some feelings and took to travelling. It was easy to get work based on her looks and she did modeling. That job itself took her places. She’s living in Ireland now and would have happily continued on with her life if it wasn’t for the fact that her mother in law was quite sick and dying. Oh, and her husband has been seeing a seventeen year old girl. Which would have been fine, if it wasn’t for the fact that they were still legally married.
