Angela looked around the clock tower and smiled. She had transformed the tower into something completely different than it’s usual abandoned, boring look. Rather than old floorboards and large bells, it looked like people had been coming to the small hideaway for years. The floor was covered by a large area rug; she had summoned up piles and piles of pillows instead of chairs; there were candles in glass jars everywhere; fireflies danced high above in the rafters; it was pouring rain outside, creating a natural sort of music; and violets were sprouting randomly around the whole clock tower, filling the space with their gentle scent. It was a bit frustrating for Angela, the whole dating situation between herself and Jolene. She wasn’t frustrated that they were dating, obviously. No, she quite enjoyed that part. It was the sneaking around. It was a bit thrilling, in a way, and got the adrenaline going. Ang did have to admit that the whole forbidden romance thing was sort of....really damn sexy. Though the more she thought about it, the more she wondered if their relationship was forbidden. It wasn’t so much that they were both women, it was that they were both professors at the same school. It would be bad enough that the two professors were dating, but that the two professors were both women? She knew that there would be parents in a fit. And then they might possibly be fired. But that didn’t mean they weren’t going to pursue their relationship. Nope, they would just sneak about. It was midnight-- the clock tower so loudly told her as she awaited Jolene’s arrival, and Angela sat on some of the pillows and looked out the window at the rain. There was still a bit of snow on the ground, but with the coming of spring most of it had already melted. Earlier that day she had sent violets to Jolene’s classroom during Jolene’s free period, followed by a little flying piece of parchment, enchanted to look like a sparrow, which told her specific instructions to come to the clock tower at midnight. Now that it was midnight, Ang felt herself tense up a little bit. What if Jolene didn’t come? Of course she would come; Ang was just being nervous. She and Jolene had been dating for awhile, though they hadn’t done anything serious yet. She supposed it was just that stage of the relationship where you were still uncertain where it was headed. Ang hoped it was for the better. words: 422 - tagged: jolene - outfit: here - notes: nom nom nom

make you lose control Jolene stood in front of the mirror, studying her reflection. Her hair was in slight curls at the end, and she was wearing a lovely purple-pink dress. Most certainly not an outfit meant for patrolling the school at night. That was her excuse if she met someone. But who was she going to meet? She was a Professor here and it was part of her job to walk around the school. Of course, it wasn't her turn tonight, but no one knew that. Unless she met a fellow Professor. Perhaps that was the problem. Jolene didn't have any problems seeing Angela. She most certainly didn't. Angela was lovely to be with and Jolene had hopes that they would last and not end up like her previous relationship where her partner left her for a man. Ang had dated men before, Jolene knew. Her mind was telling her that it was a bad idea to date someone who might potentially break her heart. But her heart was up for giving Angela a chance.
The problem wasn't her heart and mind being at odds. The problem was that they were both Professors. Professors at a school. Jolene had been here for a couple of years now and she enjoyed working here. Sure, no one gave much credit to Muggle Studies, but she liked her job nonetheless. She didn't want to lose her job and have to find another one. The world wasn't accepting of her kind right now. At least, the Muggle world wasn't. And if the Muggle world wasn't, what about the Wizarding world? They wrote with quills and dressed like they were in medieval times. Their thinking could be even more outdated than the Muggles.
The blonde picked up her cloak, fastening it over herself. It was nearly time and she would need to go up to the Clock Tower. It was a rather interesting place for a date, she had to say. A midnight date. She had found herself looking forward to it the whole day, ever since she'd gotten Ang's note. Together with a bunch of favourite flowers. It put her in a much better mood. Her heels clicked on the stone floor as she made her way to the tower. There were steps to be climbed and Jolene slowly made her way up. She couldn't fall and hit her head and then die. That would be quite unfortunate. Reaching the top of the stairs, Jolene took off her cloak, relieved that she hadn't met anyone on her way here. “Ang?” She called out, before she saw how the place looked like. “Woah.” She muttered, eyes darting about, glancing at everything at once. “This is beautiful.” The blonde said, smiling at Angela. “Did you do all this?”
