It has been two years since the defeat of He Who Must Not Be Named, but the residual effects are still felt throughout the wizarding world. Life has moved onward, and though many have returned from abroad and out of hiding, many friends and family did not. Hero’s names are slowly fading from the short memories of the witches and wizards; however The Boy Who Lived, though lost, is not forgotten.

And if the greatest evil in recent history has been banished, leading the way for their world to rebuild again, then it has made them blind to the every day evils that lurk just beneath the surface. Death Eaters may be locked away in the prisons of Azkaban, but not every enemy wears a mask. Some are deft enough to roam among them. Celebrate their greatest achievements and victories at their side, while plotting behind closed doors.

And though it has tried even Hogwarts can’t remain untouched. The halls are filled with children brought up by war and the horrors it brings. Some vow to make sure that nothing like what they’ve seen will ever happen again, while still other’s promise that one day they will rise again. But as the year pushes forward, so do children. Classes and Quidditch, dances and tests return them to a place of relative normalcy in this new world.

Now in our eighth year, Prior Incantato is a warm and friendly place to roleplay. We invite anyone to come and dabble in our world! The depth of roles to play is endless.
