charlotte also enjoys to kick back and relax, when she can. nine times out of ten, you'll find her over working herself to the point of exaughtion. shes a firm believer you have to live everyday if it were last, after watching her brother die unexpectantly. but she also wants to be remembered and doesn't enjoy being alone with nothing to do, one of the many reasons she likes to help others.

OVERVIEW: charlotte grew up rather well with an older brother, though her parents weren't the best. Sam was not just her brother but her best friend and their favorite things to do were to confuse muggles their age and watch fireworks. he was the person who held her hand when she got scared by the loud and scary cars. he was the one that helped her through the sorting and got her started in hogworts on a good foot.
she wasn't instantly loved, but she made a few friends, crushed on a few boys, though sam liked to scare them away, saying she was too young, which she was fine with at the time. instead, she would hang with friends, eat treats and have some fun on school gground. some of the things they did didn't always go by the rules however. thankfully, none were too severely punished at the time. and that didn't mean they didn't do it again.
he was her world, but then that world was quickly destroyed when the two were at a lake, sitting at the end of the pier and were ganged up on and pushed into the lake. charlotte made it out, sam didn't. but it turned out that he hadn't died from drowning (though, til this day, she is still scared by large bodies of water), but from leukemia and it destroyed jo to know there had something been wrong with him all along and she hadn't noticed or paid attention even though that's everything he did for her.
the next year at school were painful and she didn't always feel strong enough to get by. it tested some of her friendships and she lost quite a few friends, but gained others. throughout the year boys still tried to get at her, thinking they had a chance with her now. she wouldn't date any of them, however, sticking by what her brother said for the time being, wishing he was still around.
the next year, her parents divorced due to their political views. upon selling the house and moving out things, she found a note in her room from Sam. it looked pretty old and had some of his earlier hand writing. it just talked to her on staying happy and being her best and that (at the end) if she found this note he owed her a free lollipop. she now keeps the note in a medium sized locket (the note wasn't that big) that she constantly wears.
she decided to stay with her dad (though she visits her mother every summer) and one day, before she left for her mom, she went to a cafe in london. there, she met a guy who she quite fancied. they talked and chatted and he noticed her wand sticking out of her small purse (which she was glad to have around and free to use magic without restrictions since she was finally seventeen) and told her he was a wizard as well. after that, the two exacted addresses and while she was at her mothers she wrote to him. but once she returned, the two went on a few dates. he was a bit older than he, twenty-two (though she lied and said she was nineteen) but he was very nice. however, school started and she couldn't tell him that she was going to school and couldn't see him again, so she broke it off there.
least to say, she was very confused when she returned to school to see him at the feast at the beginning of the year.
