Purebloods, one year apart, former Slytherins, (associated with) Death Eaters… I’m pretty sure they’d know each other. Maybe they could have been childhood friends/acquaintances and become closer when they were older, like her fourth or fifth year? And then possibly had a brief relationship or fling or something that didn’t work out because she was a spoiled little brat? Or they could just have been friends. Either way, I don’t see them being super-close now, but they would probably be on good enough terms.

That sounds lovely. Childhood acquaintances, most likely, 'cause he didn't venture out of his house much unless he was forced to, I believe. And yes, when she grew into a lovely young blonde lady, Crispin and her had a little thing. Maybe a short relationship. Hmmm. Hmmm. Hmmm. Okay. Obviously they're rather different, which is probably why Tyler doesn't know what to do with her. I say he's always admired her, with her nuturing personality and all. Naturally, he would be the one getting her to go out to parties and all, but if she doesn't want it, I don't think he'd push her. You know, he could try to get her to go out on dates with him, except maybe she always has a reason why she can't? And he takes that as rejection? Perhaps in their fifth or sixth year? So now he's all determined again to woo her, except he doesn't know how to go about doing it, in case he gets rejected again. Feel free to suggest something else.
