Genevieve snuggled up against the very warm Keegan and sighed contently to herself. After having gone to great measures to ensure that she could keep the entirety of the fourth year girls’ dormitory to herself for the afternoon, she had skipped class, stolen Keegan during his free period, and-- for lack of a better term-- completely ravished him. With the remains with what had been her too-small school uniform strewn about the room and Keegan’s clothing somewhere lost amongst the mess of it all, she had decided she was right in thinking he would take some jollies out of seeing her in it. She didn’t even need the mistletoe.
She was proud that at such a tender age she was already so developed in the art of seducing men. Or at least weird boys at Hogwarts. That had to count for something. And even if it didn’t, she didn’t need to go about seducing other boys anyways-- now she was Keegan’s girlfriend and, in her very twisted mind, they would stay together forever. Clingy? Yes. Determined? Yes. Seductive? Yes. So it worked. And from the many looks on Keegan’s face, she had a feeling that he wouldn’t mind her being a tad crazy as long as she continued to make him feel as he felt, if not better. The normally selfish Genevieve wasn’t that way whenever she was around Keegan. When she thought of him, she had the uncontrollable need to make him happy. Making him happy made her happy. She liked having someone to fret over.
And it was St. Valentine’s Day: The Ultimate Day of Fretting. Genevieve disliked a good handful of the holidays that presented themselves to her, but out of all of the holidays, she loved Valentine’s Day the most. It was one of the few holidays that had nothing to do with family. That probably sounded terrible, but she didn’t like her family. Her mother was a pushover, her father just gave her money to shut up and buy things, her oldest sister was a dumbass who got pregnant while still in Hogwarts, her other sister was pointless, her younger sister was a show off, and all of the attention went to her baby niece, despite Gen’s parents nearly strangling her eldest sister for being a teen mom in the first place.
But on Valentine’s Day, she could ignore all of them and dote over Keegan, whether he liked it or not. ”This better be your best Valentine’s Day yet,” she said with a small grin and softly kissed his neck. ”And I’ll have you know that it’s only just begun,” with a wink she leaned over him and dug under the edge of the bed, lying tummy to tummy until she found the small box that contained those crappy heart shaped candies that had the little sayings on them. She had way better stuff up her sleeve, but thought it was best to start with the cheesy, classic stuff first. She moved so she was straddling his lap and effectively not poking him with her pointy elbows and put the box on his forehead, smiling mischievously to herself.

Keegan wondered how Gen had gotten her dorm mates to not enter their dorm for the afternoon. Of course, if it was him and a dorm mate had said he needed the room to get laid, Keegan would have demanded some compensation for his troubles. Even if he was in class and didn’t need the room to begin with. He put his hand around the brunette as she cuddled against him. He doubted she was ever going to be wearing that uniform ever again. Oh well. She was a growing girl, wasn’t she? She still had time to grow out of her uniform and they could repeat this in a couple of years. Not that Keegan didn’t want to jump into bed with her when she had on clothes that fit her just fine.
Being around Gen made him forget about the troubles at school, homework and his family. He didn’t think she was clingy, not yet anyways, and was perfectly content to spend all his free periods with her in bed. Though that might result in him failing his exams when it was time to take them. Keegan very much doubted he was going to be able to concentrate on any studying when Gen was around. He wasn’t going to complain about her thinking up ways to make him happy. It would have to be his turn soon enough. What could he possibly get Gen that would make her pleased?
Telling her it was his best Valentine’s Day might help. Keegan wasn’t quite big on the whole idea of Valentine’s Day and showing the person the love you have for them on that particular day. But Gen adored this holiday. And if he wasn’t wrong, this was her first one with a boyfriend. “It is my best Valentine’s Day yet.” Keegan repeated, though he didn’t think he came across as sincere. He admired her body as she leaned over to take something from the bottom of her bed. “You know I don’t really celebrate this particular holiday.” Keegan said. She got herself into a more comfortable position and he continued speaking. “But if I get you in a too small uniform and…” His eyes rolled up to look at the box. “…what I assume are heart shaped cookies or sweets or chocolates, I do not mind.” The Hufflepuff grinned at her, noting her smile. What did she have up her sleeve?

A lot of people hated Valentine’s Day. They thought it was stupid, overrated, and it was no way to show the person you loved that you loved them. To be blatantly honest, Genevieve believed that only sad people who didn’t have someone to share the date with were really distraught over the notion of it. People who had someone to share it with seem perfectly content to buy into the cheesiness of it all. But even when Gen was a kid she loved Valentine’s Day. She’d make heart shaped cookies, she’d make little cards for everyone in her class, and she’s make up little songs about Cupid and hearts and other things. She fully endorsed the notion of fairytales and prince charmings and all that stuff. Her parents didn’t quite know where she got all of her fanciful ideas from, but they stuck and Genevieve Laurent was planning on showering her boyfriend with cheesy delightfulness.
”It’d better be, otherwise I might be more than a bit curious as to what you’ve been up to in other years,” she said with a grin and a raise of her eyebrow. Gen paused for a moment in her adventures over the edge of the bed to stick out her tongue at him. So long as they both shall live, she was going to make him ADORE Valentine’s Day. Even if it meant that every Valentine’s Day from now until forever, she would have to rock his world, she would do it. In all fairness, it would be rather pleasant for her, as well. She grinned and leaned down to kiss his cheek, her chin getting slightly tickled in the process by the short scruff that had sprouted on Keegan’s face. He looked freaking attractive. There was something about the ruggedness that came along with a man and a bit of scruff.
Gen plucked a candy from the box on his forehead and held it near his lips. ”Open up,” she said. The last thing she needed to do was force feed Keegan candies. That might just ruin the magic of it all. ”Now, we have several options for what we could do,” she said, plucking one of the candies for herself, simultaneously wondering how long Keegan would be able to keep the box balanced. ”All of which unfortunately involve clothing unless you’ve managed to procure an invisibility cloak.” Goddammit, she should’ve stolen it from Potter before she broke up with him. ”Or unless you wish to lock me up in here for the rest of the day. Which I would not object, might I add.”

What had he been up to in other years? Well, the first few years at Hogwarts, he had been a little too young to date or have a girlfriend. From his fourth year onwards, there had been someone in the picture during Valentine’s day. He couldn't recall what they did. “Go on over priced dates during Hogsmeade weekends?” He ventured a guess for his own previous Valentine’s days. “We could go do that.” He returned her kiss, hand reaching up to caress her face before touching his own chin. A shave was going to be in order. Although he did look older when he had didn't shave.
Keegan obeyed what Gen told him to do. He soon had a sweet in his mouth. The box was still on his forehead and Keegan had a feeling it was going to drop soon enough. “Uh huh.” Keegan muttered, listening to Gen telling him what they could do. Actually, she didn't give out much information. Except that it involved clothing. And possibly leaving the room. “You're supposed to make this my best Valentine’s day ever, right?” Keegan asked, reaching up to take the box off his head and placing it somewhere on the bed beside him.
He leaned forward to press his lips against hers, hands caressing her body. “Tell me my options and I'll make my choice. Locking you up here doesn't sound too bad an idea. Although your dorm mates might decide to take offense and run off to your Head of House if they don't get their dorm room back. In the state they left it.” The Hufflepuff commented, looking at their clothes strewn about the room. He spotted a shoe somewhere near the next bed and chuckled softly. “How about this. Number them, and I'll pick one without knowing whatever it is we're going to be doing? As long as it doesn't involve me singing in a crowded hallway.”

Gen shook her head and scrunched her nose. ”No, you can take me on overpriced dates during Hogsmeade weekends any time,” she said, giving him a small wink. She didn’t expect Keegan to do that sort of thing. He was 17 and was at Hogwarts most of the year; not the prime living arrangement when it came to jobs. And she was even younger and had never worked a day in her life. She was perfectly happy sneaking some food from the kitchens and having little picnics in obscure parts of the castle. Gen bent down and briefly nibbled where his hand had just been on his face. ”I like when you don’t shave. Makes you look all...rugged,” she said with a grin. Though smooth shaven Keegan was Heaven to kiss. As long as he didn’t have a beard or some sort of creepy mustache, she was content.
Genevieve watched as the box of candies slowly began to slide off of Keegan’s forehead and she stuck her hand out to catch it before it spilled all over her bedsheets. Placing it back on his forehead, she glared at it. ”Stay,” she said to the box, pointing at the box. It listened. For now. She popped another sweet in her mouth and considered the ideas she’d had floating around her head. She actually had a lot, though she didn’t know if there were enough hours in the day to do them all. ”Well, the best of many amazing Valentine’s Days to come. I couldn’t make this one the greatest one in your life, otherwise other ones wouldn’t compare and you’d be sad. So, to be clear, your best Valentine’s Day so far.” Gen was a rambler, it happened.
She melted against him and it took her a second to pay attention to what he was saying after he kissed her. Those lips should have been illegal. ”Or we could just go on a rampage and then we could have the entire house to ourselves until the next round of Gryffindors come through next September?” she suggested. Though they might go to Azkaban for that. Perhaps they could share a cell together and then it wouldn’t be so bad. ”You still owe me a song,” she pouted and kissed his cheek. ”Alright, one, two, or three?” she asked, raising an eyebrow. ”Pick wisely. Although they’re all fantastic because I thought them up, and I’m rather fantastic person. So as long as you like wonderful things, you’re set for life,” she said, half-serious, half-joking. She still fully intended on marrying him when she turned twenty-one. At the latest.

“That is true.” Keegan agreed. Or he could easily ask the house elves to prepare a lovely dinner for Gen. Keegan had taken food from the house elves many times before. They didn't seem to mind that too much. Although, he hadn't been there since he came back from the Winter Break. “Rugged. Do let me know when you're feeling in the mood for me not shaving. Saves me the trouble of trying not to cut myself.” Keegan said. He'd nicked himself more times than he could count. Why couldn't he be the sort to shave once every month or something?
Keegan resisted the urge chuckle in order for the box to stay up where it was. “Ah. The best V-day so far. Gotcha.” Keegan said. He doubted he would be sad for the rest of the Valentine’s days to come if this was what happened on the particular day. When she mentioned going on a rampage, Keegan did laugh. “I see a very big flaw in your idea, my love.” Keegan said, taking a lock of her hair and curling it around his finger. “We'll just end up in Azkaban. I don't think I'm suited for even one day's stay in that place.” The Hufflepuff said. The thought of going near a Dementor was not a thought he even wanted to entertain.
“Yes, I do. Maybe after we do whatever it is we're doing.” Keegan replied. He didn't even know what song he was going to sing to Gen. He was going to wing it. After all, he did just that the last time and it worked perfectly well. Keegan wondered if he would regret what he was doing now, asking Gen to number the options. “Oh dear me. However will I choose?” He asked, stealing another kiss from her before answering. “Number two. Now tell me. What fantastic things will we be doing?” Keegan could be considered the adventurous sort. He fully intended to do some of the more dangerous Muggle sports when he was old enough.

Gen was easily wooed by guys because she was somewhat superficial. Or a lot superficial. But now that she was already with Keegan, it didn’t mean he got to stop wooing her. She wanted to be wooed when she was ninety. She grinned and kissed his cheek, ignoring the tickling she felt on her lips from his scruff. ”You should not cut yourself when shaving. That’s not sexy,” she teased. ”Just don’t turn into a bushman. I don’t fancy you with a full out Santa beard. I think I’d have to shave it off while you slept.”
”A flaw? In my plan? You certainly must be mistaken,” she said, pouting. She paused and chewed on her bottom lip for a moment before smirking at him. ”Maybe they’d put us in the same cell and we’d have so much fun that we’d always be surrounded by our patronuses that they’ll keep the dementors at bay.” She could certainly think of a number of ways to give Keegan his happiest memory, one good enough to ward off even the meanest of dementors. ”Though I’d have to ask if they could at least give us a comfy bed. Or couch. Making love on the solid floor all the time would probably give us more bruises then we’d like.”
”I hope you don’t go around singing to other girls. I’d have to get very jealous and angry, and I doubt you’d want to see me like that,” she said, and softly ran the very tip of her index finger along his lower lip. So kissable. Genevieve didn’t like that he broke the kiss to pick a number, so instead of telling him right away, she maneuvered them with her stealth skills so that she was now lying with her head resting on the pillow and he was covering her like a warm human blanket. ”We are going ice skating on the Black Lake and then I am going to make you the very best cocoa you have ever had in your entire life and we are going to roast marshmallows over the fire in the common room and make s’mores,” she nodded. ”Right after you snog me a little more.”
