Stephen was nervous, more like beyond nervous. He looked at his appearance in the mirror in his dorm he shared with a few other ravenclaw boys. He had never had a valentine before and he didn't know what to wear, so he managed to find a black dress shirt in his trunk along with a pair of black jeans. He thought he looked okay for what he had planned for him and Elizabeth. He had invited, more like told, Elizabeth to join him in the Room of Requirment after dinner on the day of St. Valentine's and then fled, leaving her to wonder what he had planned for the two of them.

It was her who asked him to be her valentine, but he wanted it to be special, seeing it was the first time either of them had a real valentine. It was a very odd day for Stephen, making him worry and then surprised and then sad. She didn't believe he was real, saying he was a figment inside her head. He was still worried that she thought that he wasn't real since that day. He hoped he would find out what was wrong and help her in anyway he could, thats how he was. He was a kind and caring kind of guy.

He had went to the Room of Requirement , a few days prior to the day filled with love and chocolate, and paced infront of it for a while thinking of what would be special enough for the two of them. He was aware he had feelings for Elizabeth, but he didn't know exactly how he felt about her, he thought maybe after this day, he would know. He spent time infront of the doors, thinking of the exact thing he wanted and some of his classmates past him and they probably thought he was crazy, pacing infront of a wall. After a hour or three, he finally got what would be the most special thing for the two of them on Valentines and the doors appeared. When he opened the doors , he found exactly what he wanted. A special surprise for someone special in his life.

He went back to his regular schedule on the next few days, grinning at Elizabeth whenever he saw her. He was excited and he had told her that he did like surprising people and he wanted this to be a very nice surprise. He knew that she must be wondering what he was planning, but he never let on about anything. The morning of St. Valentine's Day, he had sent his owl with a little package of chocolate to her at breakfast, with a note to wear something special that night. When she looked at him, he just smiled softly at her. Back to the present, he walked down from his dorm and walked out of the portrait on his way to the Room of Requirement, grinning along the way. Once he got there, he checked to see if everything was in place and went back outside and leaned against the wall, waiting for Elizabeth, excitement shown on his face. After a few minutes, he heard someone coming......
