Introducing... KIM!

Oh hai there.

I’m KIM. I’m sure you can think up of many other variations of that name, but I like it that way. Or Kimmy. I’m not that much of a nicknames person, to be honest. That is not my real name, that’s the first name of the very first character I played, so I stuck with it. I started roleplaying when I was seventeen. I think I found my very first site (Invisionfree!) through a Harry Potter fan site and the next thing you know, I’ve gotten obsessed with it. I remember it was an intermediate to advanced level site. So yeah, I didn’t really last long there. xD I was on Invisionfree for a couple of months, and then I discovered Proboards! For a while I was on sites with both forum hosts but eventually I stuck with Proboards. Yes, that’s how I got into roleplaying.

I live on a tiny island called Singapore. If any of you ever meet someone who’s from there as well, let me know. So I can stalk them. I would love to head over to New York and stalk visit Jiggy along with so many other things. Also, Florida for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Oh, and London too. Just a couple of places to visit that’s on my bucket list.

Without music, life would be a mistake. I really do believe in that statement, so music! I’m mainly a pop/rock/mainstream kind of person. Backstreet Boys (<33), Daughtry, Adam Lambert, Lady GaGa, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Sam Tsui (from youtube, check him out!), Neon Trees, 30 Seconds to Mars, Train… etc etc!

As for television shows. Oh wow. My friend and I actually counted how many shows we watch and my count came up to above twenty plus shows. Which is absolutely crazy. I don’t have a favourite, because it’s hard to even pick. Doctor Who, Merlin, Grey’s Anatomy, Criminal Minds, NCIS, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries, CSI. I mostly watch crime/drama shows, so Glee is an exception. Then again, I’m only watching for Darren Criss.

Now onto books! I love reading. It pains me that I haven’t had the time to do so recently. Again, I read mostly crime novels. A little dash of fantasy books as well. I'm curently reading the fourth book in the A Song of Ice and Fire series and most of my favourite characters have been killed off. >.< I’ve been wanting to get into The Hunger Games and The Mortal Instruments but eh, I can’t do it for some reason. I am obsessing over the series of books written by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child featuring Aloyius Pendergast. Simon R. Green is another favourite author of mine. And no matter what JK Rowling writes next, I think I’ll read it. Just because she wrote Harry Potter.

This has turned out to be way longer than I thought it would be. Oh, I tend to whine/rant about my work and school often. You have been warned. BYE! <3
