Taterus is nothing but dust in the wind now. A once great pack with a strong alpha with his mate slaughtered in their sleep by one they had hoped to call heir to the throne. Usurped by a monster, iron fisted in his leadership his conquest for power and ability to manipulate the once great alpha into a fleeting corpse now stands in the way. In his wake he has left a trail of civil war and hatred for those who were still loyal to the now crumpled heap of a leader. His packs are strong, two in total, the ones that fend off the loyal fools who refuse to let go of the past and look for nothing but revenge, their dull minded ideals still fresh in their mind they cannot see the future, the true power and necessity that the male has brought to the land. His newly formed pack created from the ashes of that of the old are powerful indeed, he hold those most loyal to him close to his vest and uses the others so that they might fend off the weak minded individuals who need to be slaughtered if they are to see the new era that he envisions.

Avalon, a newly formed pack of those who are still loyal to their original leaders, a group of wolves who will fight until their last breath to see that the monster is removed from power. Their brave and charismatic alpha cut down in his wake, their families split in two, brother against brother. Paranoid and cautious they hide within their newly acquired wasteland. What was once part of Taterus now barely clings to life as the wolves themselves hold onto their original way of life. They too have begun a war amidst themselves, those still shocked and overly paranoid; stuck in their beliefs stand on the front lines and defend what is left of their land until the usurper is brought to justice. The others, willing to adapt have retreated into the farthest southern reach of the pack land, still weary of loners and their own pack members work within the shadows, plotting and planning for when they can seize power back from the crazed wolf who murdered a strong pack and their sense of peace with it.
