Keegan is very sociable and likes to be around people. He’s a naturally optimistic person. He doesn’t stay down for long and usually bounces back quickly from misfortune. Anything that he decides to do, he’ll do it to the best of his ability. He’s a stubborn creature and will generally refuse to accept defeat. Keegan is not very patient, he likes to move fast and think fast, which most of the time makes him accident prone because he acts impulsively. Adventurous. Keegan likes the rush of adrenaline and there’s nothing better than going off on something thrilling. Anyone who can provide him with that will be his friend. He likes the adrenaline rush that comes whenever he’s at a Quidditch match, which makes him good at his game. Keegan likes challenges. So if a girl or boy plays hard to get, he’ll just like the thrill of the chase even more.
Underneath the strong, independent surface lies insecurity. Keegan has an intense need to succeed and thus, puts too much pressure on himself. This leads to self doubt. But, his natural optimism overtakes this and the underlying insecurity may never be known to others. Keegan never nurses grudges and completely forgive and forget. Sounds hard to believe, but Keegan will be laughing with someone who decided it was a good idea to punch him in the face the day before if said person apologises sincerely.

OVERVIEW:
Keegan David Montgomery. He was just one of the many children born on that particular summer night in England. He had a twin sister who was younger than him, by a few minutes. His family was normal enough. They were Muggles. Muggles who knew magic. His mother didn’t use it often. And his father was a complete Muggle who had no magic in him. Keegan’s life before Hogwarts was dull. At least, he couldn’t recall most of what went on. He was clothed, fed and doted on but Hogwarts was when all the fun started.
He was sorted into Hufflepuff, his mother’s former house. Houses did not matter to Keegan, but he soon found out that it mattered to others. It also mattered that he was a Muggleborn, or a Mudblood as he was so unkindly called one day. Keegan was upset for all of one minute before he decided that he had better things to do than to be unhappy about how other people viewed him. Keegan enjoyed learning Magic and discovered Quidditch. He couldn’t understand why his mother didn’t want to be part of the Wizarding World, but he didn’t hate her for it.
His studies were average, occasionally failing some tests and essays but he passed all the major exams that needed passing. His first love was Quidditch. He couldn’t do the Captain thing, that was just not his thing. But whacking bludgers towards people because he was supposed to? That suited him just fine. He made friends easily in Hogwarts. Except for those purebloods who thought they were above everyone else. Those people he considered as narrow minded and silly. He wouldn’t say he hated them, not unless they gave him reason to. That’s not to say he wouldn’t forgive them if they were to come up to him and apologise profusely for calling him a mudblood.
Some time around his fourth year, Keegan got his first kiss from a boy. He recalls it vividly. He was hanging out in a classroom and he was drinking Butterbeer. The older years had snuck some Firewhiskey up. Keegan had been invited by a girl who he was quite sure fancied him. Imagine her and his own surprise when the drunken older Ravenclaw boy planted a wet one on him. Keegan didn’t protest, though he should have. Needless to say, the girl quickly lost interest in him. Which was a pity, because Keegan was pretty sure he liked the girl as well.
Since then, Keegan has had his fair share of one night stands and flings, with both boys and girls. Girls were more likely, ‘cause there weren’t many boys who took the rumours of that particular incident to heart. And it was always amusing to see the look on the girl’s face when he assured her he wasn’t interested in boys. Well, he was. But why spoil the fun before it even started?
Towards the end of his fifth year, Keegan received some rather bad news. His mother had cancer. It was a Muggle disease and for the first time, Keegan wondered why the Wizards were in hiding from the Muggles. Couldn’t Magic heal a Muggle disease? It was magic! It could solve everything. Unfortunately, it couldn’t. And so Keegan had to watch his mother waste away in front of him. While he was never as close to her as his other siblings, she was still her mother and he didn’t hate her.
Now starting his sixth year in Hogwarts, Keegan is having doubts over his alliance (to support the Order or not?), fearing for his mother’s life and wondering just how his love life is going to turn out this year.
